We want you to love every piece from The Paper Story! However, as our products are paper-based, hand-illustrated, and sometimes made to order, we handle returns and refunds with care and consideration.
1. Returns
We only accept returns if:
You received the wrong item, or
Your product arrived damaged.
To request a return, please email hello@thepaperstory.shop within 1 day of receiving your order. Include your order number and a clear photo of the item.
2. Refunds
If your return is approved:
You’ll receive a refund or replacement, depending on stock availability.
Refunds are processed to your original payment method within 7–10 business days after approval.
Please note:
Shipping costs are non-refundable.
Items damaged through use, handling, or after opening cannot be refunded.
3. Exchanges
If you received the wrong or damaged item, we’ll gladly send a replacement at no extra cost.
4. Order Cancellations
All sales are final once placed.
We do not accept order cancellations as most items are prepared, printed, or packed shortly after purchase.
